Áine Kerr
Áine is a two-time graduate of DCU with a Bachelor of Education (B’Ed) and Masters in Journalism (MAJ). She also holds an MSc in Business Practice with UCC. She is a Fellow of the Sulzberger Leadership Program, Columbia University, NYC, holds certificates with Cornell University and Harvard University, as well as an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Executive Coaching with Kingstown College. Áine was co-founder of Kinzen, acquired by Spotify, and Managing Editor of Storyful, acquired by News Corporation. Previously, she led global journalism partnerships at Facebook, NYC. Before Facebook, she spent five years at Storyful as head of content and political editor before being appointed managing editor in 2011 at the time of the acquisition by News Corporation. Áine spent 7+ years as a political correspondent and news reporter with Ireland’s leading newspapers. Áine is also the host of her own show Reignite on RTÉ Radio One. Áine is an award-winning entrepreneur and broadcaster. She has been recognised with an Alumni Award by DCU, awarded Woman of the Year in Media by Irish Tatler 2017, VIP Eir Power of Women award in 2022 for digital and technology and a Woman of Vision award for business and technology in 2023.
